Founded in 1984 by Syracuse native John Shinto, A-Z Construction & Restoration has built a reputation throughout Central New York for dependable craftsmanship and honest service. John started the company with a simple goal: provide high-quality masonry and restoration work while treating every project as if it were his own home.
Over the decades, the business has grown through word-of-mouth and repeat customers, becoming a trusted name for masonry, structural repairs, and exterior restoration. Today the company remains family-owned and operated, with John working alongside his son, John Jr., continuing a tradition of hands-on experience, attention to detail, and pride in serving the Syracuse community.
We are not a franchise. We don’t outsource to subcontractors. The person who estimates your job is the same person overseeing the work. And our customers get John’s direct number, not a call center.
